The Enterprise Mirror Universe Saga Continues:

posted Wednesday, 4 November 2009
The I.S.S. Enterprise is back on course following a mission detour to deal with vengeful Dakalan shapeshifters that sabotaged a mining facility for their own colonization purposes.

With the Dakalans secured in the brig, and Halloween shenanigans by the Triple Threat keeping a certain Ensign Biggs in fear for his life, the crew now resumes their search for traitors to the Empire. It appears the mysterious “Section 47” has been busy, recruiting those who would see the end to the Empire and freedom for and cooperation among the various subjugated worlds.

Major Reed and Lt. Cmdr. Storm’s investigation into the Avenger’s Captain Stile’s connection to this shady organization has led them to Trillus Prime, via information from an “independent” psi who can be bought for a price. A covert operation on Starbase Nine has given them a possible source of information within the Section itself. But why did a Vulcan crew member risk - and eventually lose - his life to free the Dakalans? Was he member of Section 47 or a newly recruited rebel spy? Did he just feel sorry for the shape-shifters, or was it a plot to assassinate the Major?

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Commander T'pol conducted her own investigation into the rebellion, in an effort to discover whether Vulcan is involved and where she stands. In the process she discovered a surprising truth that could lead to disappointment for Security Officer Imara. With a closer eye on her fellows, will T'Pol's Vulcan pride get her in trouble once again? And what will happen if Commander Tucker "remembers" what happened?

Lieutenant Sato’s ear for languages revealed another mystery: A set of old  Betazed chants, dating form before the time of the Empire, that speak of a Trill woman named Dax, and benevolent spiritual beings. Is there a possible connection to the rebellion? Where will Sato's obsession with her counterpart in the parallel universe lead? And what exactly is her relationship with Sergent Mayweather?

Everything is not as it seems and information is power for our Mirror Universe anti-heroes. While they struggle to quell a rebellion, a new enemy threatens their borders – a mysterious, heavily armed and far more powerful species that calls itself  “Cardassian”.

Fortune favors the bold. And the brutal.
